Draven McConvilleCEO - Klipboard
So with £200, a bag full of clothes and a bus ticket at 18, not exactly the perfect start on the career journey. Regardless of this, Draven McConville has gone on to establish two leading businesses in the tech sector and recently closed Private Equity investment from Seattle for his latest venture. Through innovation and collaboration with others, his motivation has always been to challenge the norm and seek breakthrough opportunities.
Draven is a recent British Chamber of Commerce winner of Young Person in Business and currently a Future Leader through a joint programme between IIBN and the Irish Government. He founded his first company at the age of 26 during the economic recession, growing it to a successful software development company delivering tech products for clients such as KIA Motors, Coca Cola, Terex Corp, Almac Pharmaceutical and many more across UK, Europe and North America. He is still actively involved as a Non Executive Director but has gone on to found a new company, Klipboard which is focussed on the hot growth market of technology for mobile workers.
Outside of his business interests, he has a passion for art and a love for architecture.. He is a strong believer in knowledge sharing and actively enjoys bringing his tech knowledge to use for social good. A particular charitable cause close to his heart is homelessness. Working with Simon Community, he developed the concept for an app that helps citizens report people sleeping rough through mobile geo-location whilst also providing support to those at risk of homelessness. It recently won a Tech 4 Good Award.
