Friday
  • IIBN Annual Conference 2019

  • Nov 8, 2019 all day
  • Location: Westminster, London
  • Description:

"The best day of networking amongst Irish business professionals all year."

"It's the one event all year I never miss."

These are just two of the comments we received from attandees after last year's Annual Conference in Dublin.

After two record-breaking years at the Royal College of Physicians in Dublin, the Conference is moving back to London and will be held at the award-winning One Great George Street, a four-domed grade II listed Edwardian building just off Parliament Square in the heart of Westminster.

This elegant and historical building has been described as a "monumental neo-classical design" and a "modern rendering of the late Renaissance". The exterior, foyer and staircase are made of Portland stone and many of the rooms are ornately decorated with French walnut and oak panelling, carved plaster ceilings and elaborate crystal chandeliers.

Join us for a day of TED talks, panel discussions and pro-active…

  • Location: Lord's Cricket Ground, St John's Wood Road, London NW8 8QN
  • Description:

    IIBN at Lord’s

A huge thank you to the team at Lord’s Cricket Ground for hosting IIBN in February ahead of this year’s historic Test match between England and Ireland from Wednesday July 24 to Saturday July 27.

The event was undoubtedly one of our most successful to date, with over 200 guests attending on the evening. We were also pleased to welcome guests from some of the other Irish networks and societies - it goes to show that there is nothing that can bring Irish people together like an Ireland v England game.

During the event, Members had the opportunity to take a highly-entertaining tour of the Pavilion and hear the history of Lord’s from one of the guides. The feedback on the tours has been really exceptional and we’re delighted we were able to offer this unique opportunity to our Members.

Our thanks also to Jamie Clifford, Assistant Secretary at the MCC for the warm welcome; and to Alan Lewis, former Irish cricket player and retired Irish…
