"The best day of networking amongst Irish business professionals all year."

"It's the one event all year I never miss."

These are just two of the comments IIBN received from attandees after last year's Annual Conference in Dublin.

After two record-breaking years at the Royal College of Physicians in Dublin, the Conference is moving back to London and will be held at the award-winning One Great George Street, a four-domed grade II listed Edwardian building just off Parliament Square in the heart of Westminster.

IIBN is delighted to announce Professor Louise Richardson, Vice Chancellor of the University of Oxford as the first speaker for the 2019 IIBN Annual Global Conference. A political scientist, Professor Richardson is recognised internationally as an expert on terrorism and counter-terrorism. She has written numerous articles on international terrorism, British foreign and defence policy, security institutions, and international relations, lectured to public, professional, media and education groups and served on editorial boards for several journals and presses.

A native of County Waterford, she was previously Principal and Vice-Chancellor of the University of St Andrews

Speaker, and Dubliner, Paul Costelloe is one of the most established names in British and Irish fashion. Since the establishment of the fashion house under his own name, this family-owned and run business has been a leader in the use of hand-crafted, luxurious fabrics combined with cutting edge design. He has also developed a highly successful business in developing corporate wear concepts for major multi-nationals and sports teams including British Airways, Delta Airlines and the Irish Olympic Team.

Also confirmed is Peter Sheridan OBE, who is CEO of the charity Co-Operation Ireland and has over 40 years peace-building experience on the island of Ireland. Before joining Co-Operation Ireland in 2008, he was an Assistant Chief Constable with the PSNI and the most highly-ranked Catholic officer in the force’s history. He was also the most senior officer in charge of policing the Irish border.

As the Brexit process continues, governments across Europe continue to seek the expertise of Peter and his team. With the IIBN conference taking place just a week after the October 31st Brexit deadline, we look forward to hearing his insight on the potential effects of the Brexit outcome on stability in Northern Ireland.

Join us for a day of TED-style talks, panel discussions and pro-active networking amongst leading Irish entrepreneurs and business professionals. And now, for the first time, attendees will be able to engage with each other in a private Group, before, during and after the Conference, right here on this new website.

Speakers, Sponsors and Delegates are also invited to a welcome reception on the evening of Thursday, November 7th at The Irish Embassy, hosted by Irish Ambassador Adrian O'Neill.

Tickets are now available Here  £204 (inc VAT) and if the response rate previous years is repeated, the Conference will be a sell-out.

Sponsors and Exhibitors are welcome to contact Angela Sammon (angela@iibn.com) for information on various promotion opportunities at very favorable terms for members.

We look forward to seeing you at One Great George Street on 8th November!
