IIBN are delighted to have Richard Watson, Imperial College London back to speak on the topic of ‘Future Disruption’ at our upcoming Patron Breakfast in London.

Richard’s mission to is make people think about their own thinking. Specifically, he would like people to take time out and develop a mind-set that’s calmer, more reflective and longer-term.
With a focus on creativity, strategic foresight and scenario planning he has worked with, amongst others, IBM, General Electric, the Ministry of Defence, the Department of Education, the NHS, McDonald’s, KPMG, Samsung, Porsche and Coca-Cola.
Richard has written five books. His first, Future Files (2007), was translated into sixteen languages. His most recent, Digital Vs. Human (2017), explores artificial intelligence, robotics and the internet, but from a deeply human perspective.
Richard is Futurist-in-Residence at the Technology Foresight Practice at Imperial College and a member of the Civil Aviation Authority’s Futures Group.
